DaVinci Workshop
DaVinci is an after school art program that runs after school on Wednesdays from 1:10 to 3:00 p.m starting in October for grades K-8. Wendi Reel, with her degree in arts and a background in design, and Ashley Willcut will be co-teaching this year. Most classes are single day, meaning you can sign your student up for as many or as few classes as you want each month. The cost is $10 per class and monthly registration/payment is required in advance.
LEGO League Jr. Robotics
It's never too early to discover Stem. Clarkia (3rd and 4th) and Huckleberry (1st and 2nd) students have the opportunity to join Boomtown Build, a LEGO League robotics program. Boomtown Build is designed to introduce Stem concepts to kids age 6-10 while exciting them through a brand they love - LEGO. The program runs after school from 3:10-4:15 p.m. during September - December. Early registration/payment is required as space is limited. The cost is $85 for the entire season.
Roots Leadership
MRA's Roots Leadership team is made up of Clarkia students (3rd and 4th graders) who display the leadership qualities of responsibility, respect, community awareness, and hard work. These children play an integral role in maintaining the MRA Garden, a focal point for the MRA Community. Check out the Lilypad Garden classroom for more information on our Garden program.
Leaderfit
Leaderfit is a leadership team made up of Cedar students (7th and 8th graders) who display the leadership qualities of responsibility, respect, community awareness and hard work. The mission of LeaderFit is to promote and support social, mental and physical health in the MRA community and beyond.
