~ALDER FIELD TRIP~
When: April 21st
Where: Oregon Garden, Silverton, OR
Who: 5th & 6th Grade Students
Alder Students are going to explore the stunning Oregon Garden, an 80-acre botanical garden, featuring more than 20 specialty gardens showcasing the diverse botanical beauty of the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest. This will be a great opportunity for your student to get some hands on experience with many of the native plants of our area.
The bus will depart from MRA at 8:30am and we should be back on campus by 2:00pm. We are in need of several parent volunteers, which will be filled on a first come first serve basis. If interested please contact your homeroom teacher.
**Please remember that ALL adults must have a valid background check**
Students need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle (a lunch will be provided to those who purchase a hot lunch that day). A light coat or sweater, hat, and sturdy shoes are also recommended.
No electronics will be allowed on the bus.
Please feel free to contact either one of us with any questions or concerns.
