Next week, we will celebrate Read Across America in honor of Dr. Seuss and his birthday on March 2nd. This movement was started in 1997 to bring awareness that all people deserve the right to learn to read. There are many fun events across the country as schools celebrate this day of reading.
At MRA we would like to encourage your student and family to join our Seuss-A-Thon! Each student will be given a list of Dr. Seuss books to read over the next week. If they can read 10 or more Dr. Seuss books before next Wednesday, March 4th and return their signed paper to Mrs. Quinlan in the library, they will receive a small prize. Happy Reading!
