Dear parents,
I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable winter break, I know I sure did! I am excited to be back at school and ready to make the most of the second half of the year as I'm sure it will fly by like it always does. The Cedars will be changing from grade level computer classes to mixed groupings which reflect what spring performance group they are in. We will have a short review of what we have worked on so far this year, and then they will have a short practical test to see what they can do on their own using the Google tools we have practiced with. After that we will get into 3D modeling and printing! More on that later.
The Alders will finish up their charity website and then we will take an in depth look into Google Docs and all the creative things you can use it for, like making a HyperDoc! Clarkia are working their way through the typing techniques to follow and getting faster every day.
Photography is finishing up our last two photographic techniques and then will have a short quiz before the elective is over at the semester break to make way for yearbook! Robotics is finishing up our payload moving project and getting ready to move on to our next challenge.
