Welcome to another riveting report on our various activities in South Clarkia. First and foremost, I want to announce that Mrs. Ingalls will be running INDOOR soccer camps starting in December and running on Tuesdays for 8 weeks. More info at Ingallswcsa.org. Also, our Leadership and Garden and Cooking groups are running a Holiday Farmer’s Market on MRA campus at 3:00 on Fridays. Lots of yummy treats and wonderful items! Come check it out on Friday. Our Running Club has their first 5K this week and the entry fee is $5 for non-club members. This is a rain or shine event, so be prepared! Also, as you may have seen on Facebook, we have a great many coats and cardigans on our lost/found rack. I know a call has come out for hangers – I’d rather people come get their coats!! Please, please write your child’s name in their coats – nearly guarantees swift return! Okay, enough of all that.
This week in theme we are investigating different seasons and why we have them and then move into measuring temperature and humidity of our air. In math we are in a heavy multiplication vein and will be following it through the week. Reading has us working on our Tower of Books Challenge, as well as reading informational books about weather. We will also be using our art focus of, "lines", to create some pictures of different weather-related themes, processes, and artifacts. This is our last full week before Thanksgiving so there is a lot to get wrapped up (no pun intended) and ready for the short break.
As always, thank you for your support and have a great week!
